Hot Pink, Yellow and Blue Blanket

Beautiful baby girl blanket for our friends Shira and Devin. At first after I purchased the fabric I wasn't sure they were all going to mix well. After I layed out the pattern the way I wanted I fell in love with this. I love how bright the colors look, and I hope Baby Dickson loves it too.

Valentines Day and 3 Year Anniversary

VALENTINES DAY:
For Valentines Day, we decided to eat dinner at one of our favorite places, Naples, in Downtown Disney. After dinner we went on a few rides at Disneyland and decided to go to California Adventures to see if we could still get tickets to The World of Color show. We both had never seen it and really wanted to. Thankfully they were still giving out tickets, but it was to the 9:15 showing. We got the tickets and waited, and waited, and waited. Finally, we were taken to our area, where we had to stand to watch the show. We had been fortunate enough to get spots right in the front, so we could see everything. The show was amazing! I really want to see it again. I am grateful for my wonderful husband, who knows that a Valentines Day at Disneyland is something I will enjoy.

3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY (Feb. 16):
I can't believe that it has already been 3 years since our wonderful wedding. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful husband that loves me and takes care of me. I honestly don't know what I would do without him. The past 3 years have been the best of my life and I know that is all thanks to the wonderful man that I married.
To celebrate our Anniversary, Jared sent me my favorite flowers to work. Anyone that either came to our wedding or saw pictures knows that I love pink and that I love pink lilly's. So, that is what he sent me. My office smelled amazing for the next few days. :)
On our Anniversary, we had dinner at another favorite restaurant (but one we don't go to often), Hibatchi Steak House. Those that have never been there, this restaurant is great! It's one of those restaurants that cooks the food right at your table. We were seated with a family celebrating a birthday. After we all sang 'Happy Birthday', they learned that we were celebrating our Anniversary. So, they insisted on singing us an Anniversary song.
My beautiful flowers.

I am so gratful for my amazing husband. I am grateful for all the things that he does for our family. Honey, I love you so much and I can't wait to spend eternity with you by my side.

New Bedding

I have been dying to redecorate something. So for Christmas I asked for new bedding. I found this on Macys.com and I love it!!! It's hard to tell but the bedding is light blue, gray, a little bit of navy blue and sparkly silver. Our sheets are navy blue. I love it so much! I have to stop myself from redecorating everything. Ha!

Blankets for Sale

I have been making a lot of blankets. So, I decided to make a page on Etsy.com and start selling them. I am working on my first one right now. But, a friend from work asked me to make one for a friend. This is what I came up with.

Baby Carter McGregor

My cousin Kayla had a beautiful baby boy, Carter Kent McGregor. He was born on January 23, 2011. Of course I made him a blanket.

Christmas Presents

For Christmas I decided to make my brother and sister-in-law blankets. Rachel asked for a purple and green blanket with some padding to make the blanket thicker. I had never done that before, but it wasn't too bad. I am really happy with the way it turned out. Blake asked for a green and brown blanket that was really soft. So, to make his blanket softer I used minky fabric. They both loved them!

San Diego Vacation

Jared and I decided to take a little vacation. We drove down to Temecula for a friends wedding reception and decided to stay the night in San Diego and then go to the Wild Animal Park. We stayed and this nice Double Tree Hotel and had yummy breakfast in bed (something I don't get to do). After breakfast we went to the Wild Animal Park. It was so much fun to see the animals. We even went on the Journey to Africa tour.

Our nice hotel room.
Jared wanted to be a little kid and jump on the bed.

I had never fed one of these. It felt cool but kinda freaked me out.

Jared was a pro at feeding them.

The gorilla was just sitting there posing for everyone.

Its sad but our tour guide told us that there are only 7 of these rino's left in the world.

We took the Journey into Africa tour.

This baby leopard was born mid November. So cute!!

We were about to leave and turned around and saw this coming down the walkway.
