I have been dying to redecorate something. So for Christmas I asked for new bedding. I found this on Macys.com and I love it!!! It's hard to tell but the bedding is light blue, gray, a little bit of navy blue and sparkly silver. Our sheets are navy blue. I love it so much! I have to stop myself from redecorating everything. Ha!
I have been making a lot of blankets. So, I decided to make a page on Etsy.com and start selling them. I am working on my first one right now. But, a friend from work asked me to make one for a friend. This is what I came up with.
My cousin Kayla had a beautiful baby boy, Carter Kent McGregor. He was born on January 23, 2011. Of course I made him a blanket.
For Christmas I decided to make my brother and sister-in-law blankets. Rachel asked for a purple and green blanket with some padding to make the blanket thicker. I had never done that before, but it wasn't too bad. I am really happy with the way it turned out. Blake asked for a green and brown blanket that was really soft. So, to make his blanket softer I used minky fabric. They both loved them!
Jared and I decided to take a little vacation. We drove down to Temecula for a friends wedding reception and decided to stay the night in San Diego and then go to the Wild Animal Park. We stayed and this nice Double Tree Hotel and had yummy breakfast in bed (something I don't get to do). After breakfast we went to the Wild Animal Park. It was so much fun to see the animals. We even went on the Journey to Africa tour.

We were about to leave and turned around and saw this coming down the walkway. To celebrate my birthday with my Bestie, Andrea, we went to Islands for lunch. YUM! After lunch, we hurried over to the movie theater and saw Burlesque. It was better than I thought. I had read reports that Christina Aguilera did horrible acting, but I thought she did pretty good for her first movie. The part I liked the best was the music.... AMAZING!
To finish off the birthday celebrating, we are going to dinner at Knollwood's then heading over to Cinema City to see Disney's Tangled. I am so excited to see this movie. I have been looking forward to this movie all year.
This year I turned the big 24! For those that know me, know that I like to celebrate my birthday. We celebrated the week of Thanksgiving with my family. Then on Friday we had lunch at Club 33 in Disneyland. After lunch we spent the rest of the day with our good friends and Disneyland buddies, Mike and Katie. We had so much fun!
